About Fishing Derby

On Friday, August 10, 2018, LASAA is proud to announce the 7th annual fishing derby! This event is only open to current LASAA members and space is limited to 45 people.

We have chartered a private boat out of Pier Point Landing in Long Beach for this event. The boat promptly leaves at 0600 hrs and returns at 1600 hrs.

The cost is only $35 and includes lunch and a non-alcoholic drink.

Medals will be awarded for the top three heaviest fish for both men and women categories.

Tackle and licenses will be available at the Pier Point Landing tackle shop.
